Welcome to Art Beats Academy. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, classes, content, and services. By visiting this site, purchasing a class, or enrolling a student, you agree to follow the terms outlined below. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or our services.

1. Who We are

Art Beats Academy is an online art education business offering live and self-paced art classes for children and teens. All programs are taught or managed by Tami Oakes or contracted instructors under her direction.

2. Eligibility to Use the Site

This website and its offerings are intended for use by adults (parents or guardians) registering their children. By using this site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and are enrolling a child with appropriate consent and supervision.

3. Purchases and Payments

All purchases made through our website are processed via secure third-party payment services (such as Wix Payments, Stripe, or PayPal). Prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise noted. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current payment information.

Refunds & Cancellations

  • Live Classes: Cancellations with at least 48 hours’ notice may be eligible for rescheduling or credit, depending on availability. Missed classes without notice are non-refundable.

  • Self-Paced Courses: Due to the digital nature of these products, all sales are final once access has been granted.

  • If we must cancel a class due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, we will offer a makeup session or credit.

 

4. User Accounts

You may be required to create an account or provide personal information when registering for classes. You agree to keep your login credentials confidential and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

 

5. Use of Site Content

All content on this website—including videos, class materials, artwork examples, PDFs, and written guides—is the intellectual property of Art Beats Academy and is protected by copyright laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or share this content without written permission.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the materials solely for personal, non-commercial educational use.

 

6. Student Work & Privacy

We may occasionally request permission to feature student artwork (without using last names) for educational or promotional purposes. We will never share private information without your written consent.

7. Code of Conduct

We aim to create a welcoming, respectful learning environment for all. By enrolling in a class, you and your student agree to:

  • Use respectful, inclusive language

  • Participate in a way that supports the group and instructor

  • Not share inappropriate content or disruptive behavior in class or on our platform

We reserve the right to remove students from a session or program if behavior becomes inappropriate or unsafe, without refund.

 

8. Technology Requirements

For live classes, participants are responsible for having a reliable internet connection and the ability to use video conferencing tools (e.g., Zoom). We are not responsible for missed class time due to technical issues on the user’s side.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Art Beats Academy and its affiliates are not liable for any damages, injuries, or losses arising from your use of the site or participation in classes, including indirect or consequential damages.

 

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. All changes will be posted here, and your continued use of our website or services constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
